Bishan Timetable
At Canopy, we establish routines to support students in building good habits.
At lunch, they learn good mealtime habits of eating nutritious food and washing up after themselves.
Thereafter, they complete assigned school tasks before proceeding for tea break.
After tea break, students who need additional learning support will spend some time with their weaker subjects. Aside from this, we have a wide variety of engaging activities which encourage students to develop socially, physically and mentally.
Before dismissal, students will engage in a time of silent reading to inculcate a love for reading.
The timetable is designed to offer students a wide variety of activities to broaden their horizons, and yet give set routines to help students develop good habits.

Our Program Features:
Project Project!
Hands-on, open-ended projects where students design, build, and problem-solve over extended periods. Teachers guide students to plan, test ideas, reflect on outcomes, and persist through challenges, with an emphasis on process, iteration, and follow-through rather than finished products.
FlexiQ
Group-based thinking games with high cognitive engagement and social interaction. The energy comes from excitement, challenge, and rapid decision-making. Students practise focus, flexible thinking, and problem-solving as they respond to changing rules, work with peers, and adjust strategies in real time, with teacher guidance.
Smart Games Club
Tabletop logic and strategy games played in small groups to develop sustained attention, planning, and thoughtful decision-making. Games are selected to offer appropriately paced challenge, allowing students to work at a “just right” level while learning to persist, adjust strategies, and reason through problems.
Teachers guide gameplay to support focus, persistence, and reflective thinking, helping students practise trying again, exploring alternative approaches, and staying engaged when tasks are challenging. Games are presented within imaginative contexts (for example, fantasy, animals, and transport) to provide variety and interest, while maintaining a calm, structured setting that supports careful thinking and sustained engagement.
Outdoor Connect
Outdoor time is treated as an essential part of the programme, providing balance after academic work and supporting well-being through movement, fresh air, and sustained engagement with nature.
Windsor Nature Park -
Extended outdoor sessions focus on exploration and shared experiences. Students spend time walking, observing, and interacting with peers in a forest setting, building physical regulation, social connection, and comfort in outdoor spaces. Through regular exposure, they develop familiarity with the natural environment and an awareness of the plants and creatures that inhabit it.
Nature Journal -
A quiet, reflective activity where students record observations from their experiences through drawing, writing, or simple diagrams. Nature Journal provides space for students to slow down, notice details, and organise their thoughts after extended time in natural settings. The focus is on observation, attention, and reflection rather than artistic skill, helping students develop calm focus and a habit of noticing their environment.
